CD Album Cover - Soul

Front Cover

Inside

Back
Most soul music album covers are mainly just the singer's face, and the album name is usually just the singer's name. So I took pictures of the BEAUTIFUL Claire Neville for this assignment. I used the sky blue color throughout the three different pictures so there would not be any clash with the colors. The pictures are pretty clear also. On the front cover, there was absolutely no way I could get rid of the little white halo around her...I tried so hard! Other than that, I like the way this assignment turned out!

Multi View

When we were looking for subjects for this project, we were supposed to think of something symmetrical. 11:11 seems very symmetrical to me. If I would have been able to put the clock near a window on a sunny day the pictures could have been better. The lights from the ceiling are kind of glaring off of it, which looks bad. I liked changing pretty much every half of every 1 to a different color.

One Subject

These are pictures of the old van we have in our backyard. I call it the "kidnapper van". When I was younger, my dad used to drive this and I would sit on his lap and steer while he pushed the gas. It doesn't exactly move anymore though. My favorite picture out of these is the one of the spider web, I think there is good light in it. I changed them all into black and white pictures because I think it just fits the feel of an old vehicle.

Warmth

After all the snow melted, we had a million puddles in our yard, so I think this picture shows warmth. I like how most of the boot is in focus, and you can see the water splashing. It could have been better if more of it was clear. I turned it to black and white because the water and ground were really gross colors before.

I think this picture shows warmth because you can see the shadow of this stick because the sun is out, and the sun is melting the snow. You can see some snow in the back, but the ground is bare other than that. I think there was a fuzzy spot on my camera lens, and I wish I would have realized it when I was taking pictures.

I think this picture shows warmth because you can see some of the ice, but it is melting and turning into water. There are some gross looking particles and stuff in it, and if they were gone it could have been a better picture. I like the way the bubbles are clear though. Again, I turned it to black and white because the water was a gross color before.

Typical Day

Every morning, I brush my teeth and straighten my hair in my bathroom. I'm not exactly a morning person, so I don't have enough time to do my makeup at home, so I do it in the car on the way to school. After school, I have sofball practice until about 6:00 every single day. When I get home, I have to do my homework. I am also reading "The Fault in our Stars" by John Green. The day I took these pictures was a Wednesday, and every Wednesday I watch Modern Family. A typical weekday is pretty boring for me, but weekends are pretty fun.
